The principle of the organization is the provision and promotion of voluntary health care services through various activities to improve the health of the Zambian people. The organization intends to achieve its mission by collaborating with government agencies, international & local NGOs, various corporate entities and individuals who share its vision in achieving sustainable, equitable and standardized health care for the people of Zambia. The main objectives of the organization include the following: - To alleviate the devastation created by the HIV/AIDS pandemic, TB, Malaria, Malnutrition and Diarrhoeal diseases through its various activities.
- To organize and support medical volunteer activities for the benefit of underprivileged communities in collaboration with the medical school, government and private institutions, community organizations and NGOs.
- To publisize the concepts of healthy living through all forms of media (print, radio, television and the internet).
- To promote empathy by encouraging inter-discplinary discussion in the health sector so that a multidisciplinary approach in solving health care problems can be achieved.
- To create an enabling environment for the maintenance of human resources in the health sector and to reduce the migration of doctors and other medical personnel to other countries by:

Creating a medium through which the career opportunities of health care personnel can be improved within the country -
Fostering interaction among Zambian doctors and enhance their intellectual and professional development -
To provide information and support through its telemedicine programme so that outreach consultancy can effectively be achieved - To become a consultative body that provides solutions for health care problems and creates sustainable approaches in solving these problems.
- To promote indigenous medical research activities so that Zambia becomes a beacon in medical research oriented development.
- To build relationships with other Zambian and foreign organizations with similar objectives so that a concerted effort in achieving these objectives can be made.
